Katie Chandler
Associate Executive Director, Programs
Born in Chicago with a fierce passion for international development work, Katie Chandler brings a wealth of global experience to her role as Associate Executive Director of Programs at Bridge of Life. Having spent almost half her professional life in Latin America, she has worked extensively across the globe to drive sustainable change. Prior to joining Bridge of Life in 2014, Katie served as the program director for international nonprofit organizations such as Etta Projects and Healing Waters, where she helped serve the global poor through safe water and sanitation solutions, as well as health and hygiene education. Over her tenure at Bridge of Life, she has engaged thousands of volunteers to strengthen kidney care globally. She now leads the program team in advancing these vital healthcare initiatives and expanding access to care worldwide.
Katie holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management with a concentration in Sustainable Development from the School for International Training in Vermont. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Spanish and Behavioral Science & Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through the Project Management Institute.
Katie currently lives in Golden, Colorado, with her partner, Jason, their three kids, and two dogs. They love to explore the outdoors and travel to new places. During her free time, you can find her running the trails, skiing in the Colorado mountains, seeing live music, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
